it's my understanding that no one reads the station news articles anymore.

if there was one news article on the welcome screen, and a link to the remaining list directly below it, there would be more news viewers. therefore more use to advertise ingame too.

guildies love to make it easy on themselves by mass advertising memberships. and the CNN reports are great for RP.

although, now that i think about it, maybe a news ticker across the bottom of the welcome screen... with clickable article titles...

the news ticker has been one of my goals.

I expect traders read the news. I know I do when I'm trading.

Yeah, wouldn't want to get in the way of coders trying to hack.

Erm, I think spuck just means that it would be distracting as HELL in combat...

Of course it should be toggle-able.
