"Real" Trading
Why don't we have "real" trading?
I mean the type of trading where by if EVERYONE on the game goes to Sector 14 and buys as much "Precious Metals" as they can, the price fluctuates to make more sense.
IE - the market would get flooded and you would start to see a drop in profits - until you get to a point where another item is more profitable (or a different station has better selling rates).
This would mean that the "popular" sectors would change now and again - because more people go there to get the latest cool cargo.

Because the devs have alot of things on thier plate already.
The devs have said before that they intend for the trading system to become more dynamic.

That would be cool. However, i would imagine that it would be very hard to implament. You have to come up with a registry system that tells how much of # is being bought and sold, the a system to ajust prices as the rate goes up or down.
It is planned, but it will require the devs to stop doing more pressing things like makeing the game more stable and make the game balanced.
Sounds good to me...
