The Bar - Bulletinboard / Suggestion box
1. BulletinBoards - for next special events
I would like to see a place setup at the space stations in the bar's to allow the viewing and scheduling special event for the game - such as Nation Wars, Free for All's and the like. It would allow for another facet of using the bar's in the first place. It would also allow the developers and high ranked people in charge to not have to be asked every new person who logs in when the next battle will be. The users can easily go check on the bulleting board in the bars at the space stations. (this also allows people to stay in the game and not have to go to the forums after they have logged on to the game.)

This item can also be setup in the bars at the space station. The suggestion box option allows users the availibility to type suggestions for the game. Bringing in new ideas for developement with out having to exit the game.

Why not just use the suggestions forum for 2?
Because doing it in a bar is way cooler.
Those would be kinda cool.
For #1 you could always present an article to be published in the station news (see thread in the Role Playing forum).
#2 concerns me due to the sheer volume of repeat suggestions we would see.

Indeed, maybe we could have a futuristic TV feature or something, when you could "Spectate" events with an invisible camera or something and call it bar TV. or what if you could spend a few credits and get drunk and then it would affect the straightness of your flying or something.
Hey now, there's an idea. It could be beneficial to be able to see from the eyes of observer drones in C-10, or something.
No worries about the suggestion box... it was just a thought for in game avalibility.
As for the BulletinBoard listing realtime events such as, Nations wars, Free for alls, Capture the flag, and Cappy events has merit. This just makes it easier for people to find out about events that they many want to be apart of. It's easier to be on when you have something you can schedule against.
