undo for last sell

Jun 17, 2007 cfranz link
as a newbie, i all too often hit 'unload & sell all'. All to often, valuable stuff I wanted to keep is now gone. Can we have an optional (are you sure?) in that case, or an undo for the last action?

Can we also have a public announcement on 100 when you do this? Such a feature would allow us to mock you at the appropriate moment.

tyty!

No no no, I agree with him Doc. I mean, certain personalities would say, buy something from someone and then make the seller realize they REALLY needed it after all. And say.... sell it back for twice the cost. I approve a button to buy back for twice the cost!

an "are you sure" would be good enough. once you sell it its kinda too late.

There was already a discussion about only having these options.

Unload
Unload All
Sell
Sell All

Have the Unload buttons in column 1 and the Sell buttons in column 2. That way, you don't have to worry so much about clicking the wrong button.

If you're not sure you want to sell, don't click the button.
Yeah, I've made the same mistake once or twice, but such is life.

So your point is "if you don't want to make a mistake, don't do it?" -- (warning: troll ahead) are you bucklig up when driving, and if yes, why? And why do you think so many applications warn you before you commit to something irrevocable? (end troll)

I'd like to have this implemented because of the placement of the unload&sell all button. I like to compromise with a 2x2 grid of buttons that makes this error less likely to happen. The undo would just be safety net that makes playing the game just a bit more comfortable.

Hmm.. pressing a button by mistake. Isn't that why we have the DELETE key?

Seems that after playing the game long enough, one would eventually make mistakes. Of course in real life, sometimes those errors are irrevokable. You don't get a "DO OVER" button. But I would think that when commerce is done with the press of a button, there would be a system to avoid error, just like our DELETE key.
