There should be a Vendetta related IRC channel. Wouldn't be hard for the devs to put one up would it? Even link it with in-game chat? Well, that could be problamatic ingame, all the flooding. Make sure that you have to login with your vendetta login to chat in the IRC. (Maybe make guests listen only?)

Plus all the guilds have their own IRC channels. As for the link, well, there used to be #vendetta-ingame which echoed the contents of the chat. It was even gonna be two-way at one point. But that was nixed and shut down.
