In ion storms, players can only see 500m on their radar (or 2000m with a storm extender) but the hive can home in on you from across the sector.

I'd like to suggest that the hive have the 500m sight/detection range as well, but give the hive Observer bots (and maybe the Overseers) shared radar/storm extenders so they provide AWACS-style support for the other bots.

This would make the Observer bots a bit more useful than just dumb unarmed targets to blow up, and also add some strategy to Hive skirmishes in storm sectors. :)
