I like Hortan's idea, since I find it's helpful to have a large, brightly colored aiming point on my targets.

i'll have to agree with this thread because VO would be infinitly cooler with dark pirate ships

Yes, dark pirate ships were totally made up by EVN.

+2 to specific pirate ships, with one decal
+3 to specific GUILD ships, with guild's decal
+4 to more customization of ships, including whole body painting.
Example, the Atlas: Swap that white part (most of it) with the "paintable" part of it. Same principle applies to most ships.

isn't there some crappy facebook based car game where a the player has a template of the texture and ca paint it to their tastes? motor city or something like that.
Assuming a reasonable size limit for a custom texture file, is it possible for VO to have something similar, where the player can upload a custom texture map? I can see this getting out of hand with large player sizes, in that case maybe a customizable set of standard decals like in forza?
