It would add a whole new aspect to the game if a player, in Border skirmishes, could apply for piloting capships (through mission-tests). Thoughts?

[EDIT] This would probably include adding one of the giant capship stations to deneb and another to geira (which would make much more sense as to where the fucking capships in BS even COME from).

I like it. I like it even more if, as a condition of maintaining your captains license (for Serco or Itani captains piloting a ship made in nation space), you...

1. Must be a member of the military.
2. Must be hated or below with the enemy.
3. Must provide capitol ship support in a skirmish at least 2 to 4 times a month.

These are both requirements for doing BS. What I mean is that these capships would only be for use in BS.

Sorry, I just assumed (due to all the traitorous scum with Tri PoS) that this was not the case. I realize now that there is just a shortage of pilots willing to defend their nations.

if the pilot were to try and leave the sector the cappy could eject the pilot instead to avoid thefts

However until shields and crap are implemented this is just a way to blow 20-800 casualties... heh
