Make powerdrain mine effect cumulative

How do you explain something that's empty getting even emptier? Clearly you're on LSD or something like it. Stop eating those strange colored mushrooms so much.

However, I'll accept an explanation such as a certain substance that invades and occupies the charger temporarily, causing it to not recharge at all for a period of time. It only needs to remain at 0 for a period of time. Going below 0 is an ABSOLUTELY NONSENSICAL idea that would only appeal to those who thinks imaginary numbers are actually real.

Sweetheart, imaginary numbers are complex not real, but real numbers are also complex. So imagine to drown yourself in complexity and get saved for real : )

OK, going into psudoscience mode...

(whirr)

"The drain mine charges and emits a phased burst of ions that nullifies the powercell charge. If the phased burst is higher than the amount of charge, the remainder of the phased burst shorts out circuits in the powercell, making the powercell spend some time resetting."

This would suck... A lot for reasons I don't feel like explaining. If you don't believe me, I'll be glad to do a demonstration in-game.

how can you demonstrate how this suggestion would suck for a lot of reasons without the suggestion being implimented? i guess ill see you in game sometime...

It would literally suck. Suck the power.

Sure, you proved my point turtle. It makes more sense to say that the energy level remains at 0 for a duration than to go into negative.

ARF's reasoning that was too difficult to explain in the forums:

the OP is OP. I.e. the possibility of a lasting zero-energy state induced by the extraordinarily rare situation of someone running into 42 drain mines all at once is too detrimental to gameplay to warrant consideration.
