Exploiting or cheating were not the words I used. Unless you consider relaying to be cheating. But since that happens on the reg, I'll assume you aren't referring to that.
I'm happy to stand as the poster boy who doesn't know shit about coding/scripting/hacking/LUA/exploiting etc. but I have used Mumble and I swear I could hear Espi's heavy breathing in the background. ;)

I will keep voice chat enabled and raise support tickets whenever I hear leaking.
Some behavior we have seen:
1. Applications which play sound on the user's machine leak into voice chat.
2. Voice chat leaks out of guild/group to people not in said group or guild. I am unsure whether this occurs with people not in a group or guild.
3. Combinations of 1 and 2, resulting in all of VO with voicechat hearing YT-Radio.

Ok, keep us posted.
I'm not sure that we can do anything about #1, that's basically a low-level issue, and related to the interaction of the voice chat audio driver with the OS. The voice chat has its own audio subsystem and thread, and that's all TeamSpeak, and we have no control over it. So, the only mitigation there may be "don't listen to Pandora with VC", or whatever.
We can check and see if there are any optional flags or anything in the SDK.. but considering these builds were quite raw and made custom for us, I'm not real hopeful. Does #1 happen on all platforms? Or just some? Specific browser(s)?
The other issues I think we have a much stronger case for resolving.

I've always assumed that's due to people leaving it on auto instead of push-to-talk, and then leaving their speakers cranked up instead of putting on earphones.

some soundcards capture sound played by the system, nothing vo devs can do about that.
Has anyone tried using the voice chat, lately? We fixed a bug during the server-transition a week or so ago, which we think may have resulted in the "channel leakage" problem.
I'd be interested to know if it's improved and more stable, or worse, or the same, etc.

Yeah I'd test it if it wasn't totally destroyed for OSX. They haven't updated any libraries since 2013. Bout time they got dropped.
Inc, it would be really cool if you guys could put that stuff in the release notes so we knew to look for it. A lot of times when stuff is broken for a long time we just write it off as a loss and stop trying until prompted to do so.
Yeah, I know, and we intended to, but it was a really intensely hectic time, with a lot of late nights.
Not as mission critical as "is the game server functional?" heh, so not a big deal if I follow up a week or two later.

Yeah, I get it.
You've got a support ticket btw. VC isn't working at all for me on Linux x86-64.
