I disagree that it would influence conflicts. The mystery of who is attacking is MORE than enough to motivate people to come to station, find out who it was, and defend if necessary.

+1 -- but it might be more interesting it this was some kind of "paid upgrade" or other reward for some kind of achievement in the successful taking of the station. or perhaps only those with owners should get the more descriptive attack details?

+1 techno12 is an ass. I'd go out of my way to kill him if I knew he was at the station.

It could cut down on false alarms where someone does something stupid and sets off the turrets or a new player flies in exploring.
