Integrate shield generator into trident power cell
As the title says: a simple way to stop that lame fast charge cell being used as a fast sector hopping escape cheat by trident pilots.
You can use FC cell on your trident but then you have no shields.

+1 but instead of the power cell, put it as an unseen addon which drains 50/s energy. Buff the Trident power cell to 200/s regeneration. Allow the ability to manually control when shields are active. Cannot be toggled on if hit within 5mins or something.

I'd be ok with this if the shield scaled by ship mass. Otherwise no.
Do you not understand that this would give whatever ship you gave the THC to shields? Imagine a prom with fucking Trident shields. No.

I like Dr. Pepper, but it's got high fructose corn syrup in it and that shit is TERRIBLE for you.
Actually I'm told that Pepsi and Coke in the US has high fructose corn syrup in it because of the corn farmers lobby in the US. In Australia they're both made with cane sugar because of the strength of the cane sugar lobby.
The only reason we get Dr. Pepper here with high fructose corn syrup for sweetener is it's an import. I'm not sure either sweeteners are good for you at all, they're only just slightly better than artificial sweeteners which won't cause obesity if you overindulge in them; they'll just cause cancer instead.
Talk about trading one problem for another.

In Florida, we pay extra for Coke & Pepsi made for the Mexican market because it's got cane sugar instead of HFCS. It's still terrible for you.
I just drink water, or milk if I'm having a meal. Pretty much the only other drink I actually like is apple juice, and only in the summer.

Any non trident ship that equips anything with as much mass as a THC has no chance with out a shield.
Even with a shield, any ship that that equips a THC will accelerate slower and handle worse than a trident.
Having the shield scale with mass is a good idea, in case the THC mass is ever adjusted.
