Archive list of names of players active in last year

Oct 12, 2015 Death Fluffy link
I've noticed that player stats can be acquired for any guilded player by clicking their name from their guild list. Not all players are in guilds however so I propose creating a non guilded category at the bottom of the list to include all players who are not currently guilded and have logged in at least once in the last 6 months to a year. I don't object to a list of all unguilded players that have ever played, but think that it might be too much data to display or sort through.

Edit: Upon closer examination, it looks like the guild listing of players may only include players that have logged on in the last 30 days, in which case, I would amend my suggestion to reflect that.

I really do not see a reason for this. If someone has not played for a while, why do you need to know their stats?

[edit]

Also, you can get the stats of everyone yourself if you make a simple script to parse the https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/stats/# page. Just replace the # with an incrementing number starting at 1, download the pages and parse into a db for a searchable list! If that's beyond your level, ask someone who can to do it for you.

[edit 2]

May as well start the list at 2, as 1 is empty :)

I couldn't (Edited to appease the grammar gods) care less about my own levels much less anyone else's. It does seem somewhat unbalanced though that there is an easy way to look up information about a given player IF they are in a guild. If that ability is going to be part of the game, then it should apply to any player and yes, we could use a script to do it or manually change the player id. However, in this case I believe the burden is on GS to provide the data.

This is an extremely low priority of course.

How did you not already know that?

I have no reason to do it to be honest other than to take the opportunity to annoy fluffy, ive been pulling the names and ranks for years though

I'm not sure why I would be annoyed. The only reason I suggest this is because I noticed that it was actually there due to some other recent threads and thought to myself that if this information is being made publicly available for guilded players, that it then should also be available for non guilded players as well. I'd be just as happy if the devs disabled the stat link from the player names, but don't see the point in taking something away that can be gleaned just as easily with an in game character look up of a targeted player.

+1.

Meanwhile, for people who aren't in guilds but who do /duel on occasion, you can find their ID by looking at the address of their page in the duel ladder. Same goes for people who participate in Deneb.
