Bump. I am forming a guild with a dual-commander structure and would like an official way to do that. Though I am one out of many players, it is obvious I am not the only one who wishes for more guild structure customization. This is worth the time to work on it. Guilds are the single most important aspect of this game to very many players.

Well GREY didn't work out, but it would still be super awesome to have flexible guild structures for the guilds that aren't formed by emotionally immature people! :P

As for this suggestion, despite [GREY] looking a lot like the build-up to and conclusion of Rousey's last fight, it's probably still worth adding the additional functionality...sometime way in the future, appropriate to its low priority status.

This is silly. Why more commanders? If your commander can't get in the game, then let the LT's do their work. I'd be in favor of increasing the LT count to 4, that would help in your situations.

A bigger issue is the simple group limit to 8 members! Which if you are in need of more commanders, then I'm certain that has been a much bigger issue for you.

I can see how a nationalist guild may want a triumvirate of leadership, where 3 people are all equal in rank and of the highest rank.

I can see where a trading guild may want a partnership with 2 leaders.

The suggestion is for Guild Software to allow guilds to set any custom structure up they desire to implement. Thus both scenarios are covered and it is a matter for each guild to determine how they want to govern themselves.

If you are suggesting that setting up your guild in that way is stupid then by extension you are calling any guild who would want to stupid. The suggestion is not stupid, the suggestion is about freedom which according you to Americans is definitely not stupid.

This is not currently a high priority, and does require some development time. Particularly for testing (which is above and beyond auditing the codebase).
