I know that this has been suggested before but the functionality for the turrets to autofire (preferably like a toggle) on Atlases and moths is now needed more than ever on VO

Care to explain why you think this is needed now more than ever?

Arf, it's because I jumped back in game last night. That may have nothing to do with it, but it would be awesome if that was the reason.

But +1 there should be some form of limited defense capability for unmanned turrets. If we've made it into space, we're smart enough to figure out how to make a crude auto targeting defense system.

Not everyone plays VO to make friends. I myself have no friends here, nor do I have any interest in making any. So I would personally benefit from automated turrets, but not by a large enough margin to make it worth dev time.

Because there are only TWO features left on the all-time bucketlist of desired capship features those being:

1. autofiring turrets; and
2. the ability to lend/share your capship.

What the fuck is a turrent?

Feature bucket list... don't forget re-positioning a turret as an aft turret, Arf would not forgive us.

That's the longest standing dumbest feature request that has ever been requested. Nobody chases tridents from directly behind anyway because almost every ship is faster than it.

ARF just wants to make his trident poop.

They shoot from there because it's a blind spot and easy to stay in. It happens all the time. You should work on your criteria for 'dumbest requests'.
