Nerf auto launch/turbo via lua
Reasons include:

How does this address spotter bots? Or is this something new that I am unfamiliar with?
I suspect he thinks they turbo away and hide but still spot, even though to go completely off the list would cancel out their spotting ability.

@Fluffy: It is possible to write a bot that undocks in an EC, blindly turbos/FAs to 3km, then jumps to any in-system sector and floats aimlessly until something kills it. For slightly better survivability, it could turbo until there are no objects within targeting range, then brake. Since targeting range is currently shorter than detection range, that would let the bot monitor the sector (or part of it) without immediately showing up on the radar. That may be annoying, but the 15km limit to the sector list means that it's still trivial to find them and shoot them down, even if that only buys a short respite before they return.
Anyway, -1. Though I dislike auto-bombers and spotter bots, I don't dislike those things enough to justify removing the useful launch and turbo lua functionality. For example, I have a plugin that lets me double-tap tab to lock turbo, in addition to the stock "Hold to turbo" mode. And I have no problem with shop bots, as long as they aren't spammy.

Having lua control of turbo mitigates the annoyance of not having throttle control of the turbo speed.

Turbo control in lua doesn't have to be sacrificed, just the ability to undock needs to be mitigated.
shop bots add value to the game, even if they double as spies
Don't take my toys away. LUA is something to mess with when nobody is around.

Spotter bots I have seen use the following behavior:
1. Undock
2. Travel to one of 3 wormhole locations in latos.
3. Travel until they are about 10km out.
4. Stop
5. When somebody enters sensor range of 5km to show on the radar, it warps to one of the other wormhole locations.
6. Repeat
