About the upcoming player fleet combat in VO

Feb 04, 2017 Piment link
With the introduction of new types of capital ships to VO, soon we might be getting a lot of fleet battles between guilds, and for that to happen we should create a balance between capships.

The Capella's shields will most likely be very strong, and neither the Tridents or Goliaths might have the firepower to deshield it. In my opinion, VO will still lack in a type of capship: A destroyer.

The TPG Teradon would perfectly fit the role for a destroyer, and create a balance in fleet combat. Soon things will just be like Deneb large battles: Two fleets with capships engaging each other. Teradons, Tridents and fighters coordinate efforts to attack the enemy carriers (HACs and Constellations) while the other enemy does the same.

Any thoughts?

Not going to happen unless ..
Incarnate introduces some cargo gun so you can shoot cargo at your enemies from this big cargo barges we now have, or maybe shoot Behemoths xc at your enemies as big ballistic projectiles filled with explosives.

Oh and btw, since vendetta among traders is usually stealing some good cargo route or a contract and not playing with guns I suggest you just chill and keep on trading in this, soon to be renamed to, Space Traders Online game.

Galactic peace ftw. :)

+1 to some combat capable capships.

I know it's probably not going to happen anytime soon. But let's put some intense hope forum action into action, yo!

Oh for fs, just pay Faille to make you some clay cap ship models and have your cap ship battles on your table at home.

Imagine all the fun hours you could spend playing with your toys yelling pew pew, kapow, boom and running around your room attacking your enemies with your custom made destroyer Faille made just for you.

Just a suggestion that does not involve the word "soon".
