Please add a 1 week period to ignore command

Sometimes a few hours or a single session is not enough but forever is too long....

May we have a one or two week ignore time period added?

I could try to make VOPL have an ignore manager that can autoremove entries after a set amount of days of your choosing, but dunno if you use PC...

Don't know about others but... permanent ignore usually works fine.
The "ignore and forget" (permanent) option is worry free because I really don't want to again run into the same moron chat after a few hours.
If you, at some point, feel the need to unignore someone you can do it manually.

My iggy list gets way to long at time wiht all the short live troll alts that are popular at times... usually they dont live very long and are replaced after a few days....

Hmm, not that I think it is needed, but I'll +1 this. I do not see a reason why not?

Rather than add new commands or fixed time scales, /ignore could be expanded to take a numerical argument as hours. EG, if you use /ignore "player name" it works as it does now, but if you type /ignore 5 "player name" it ignores the player for 5 hours.

It could add a time stamp and the required number of hours to ignore into the ignorelistplayername.txt file. Currently the file only contains a list of names separated by line breaks, it could use a character that is not allowed in usernames (I think * is not?) to add time stamps and the likes.

An example:

yodaofborg
Yoda*082600130217:5

Where yodaofborg would be ignored forever, and Yoda would be ignored for 5 hours from 08:26:00 on the 13/02/17, at which time this entry would be removed. At login time this list could be checked by the client, and any names that have already expired would be removed. (Yes, this would probably use local time rather than server time, just like the /time command. If your clock is wrong it is your fault)

[edit]

Sure, 1 or 2 hours might not be enough, so use 168 for 1 week and all bases are covered ;)

Changing it to a variable amount would be as good but I suspect a few in our playerbase may have trouble inputing a number larger then ten...:}
