contraband ships
How about letting players build off-nation high-end ships (Valk, Prom, UDV) at Corvus stations, similar to the SL?
They could be labeled as nation contraband and subject to penalties on the player if seen by nation assets. For example, if a UIT flying a Prom is seen by Serco CtC in grey space, the player is immediately Serco KOS, or something similar.

-1; If you want that kind of ship, have yourself be that nation. We have 6 charecter slots, utilize them.

how about just saying fuck-it entirely to nations? you got 6 deletable alts and you want to manufacture ships?
