It's probably been brought up before. But how would people feel about being able to sell ships between players? Something like both players go to a station like the one in m7, selling player selects a sell option while docked kinda thing. Funds transferred through the station for security reasons. Sorry if I've brought up something that has come and gone already.

You can kind of do this in Latos N-2 already. Just make sure no one else other than the buyer and seller are in the station when you do it.

The buyer still has to meet the requirements for the ship as if they were buying it from a regular station so the system can't be abused.

I say let the buyer be able to purchase without meeting normal requirements, but charge a very steep fee to be paid to the station. Like 5 mil on top of the seller's amount.

The station should get a cut of the deal - say about 20 percent of the total price.

Yes, if an itani player sells a Valk X-1 to N2 and I meet the requirements for it, then I can buy it which I already do.

Obviously though standard nation rules apply. I can't buy an X-1 from N2 if I'm serco.

Buying and selling spaceships would be pointless right now.
