Suggestion is that there be a new, harder variation of the Gauntlet. Maybe you can only take it once a day, it gives the same combat bonus, but is roughly twice as hard. I could maybe look into PCC and try to make this mission myself. I think it would be a nice challenge for those of us who are "bored" with bots.

If you are bored with bots, thats when you start learning how to PvP, but sure, go for it!

Better still would be some form of open ended Gauntlet that simply kept going and getting harder until you died/retreated. Rewards would need to be "per wave" in this case.

no -100000000 for that. I mean I guess it would be cool to have time of waves..but endless?!

GamingFOReel, he said each wave gives its own rewards, so there shouldnt be any issue with going till you cant go no more. Why would you be opposed to that as a possibility?

As long as they figure out a way where you can't use capsships or other players help.

Considering the original is a PCC mission, there's nothing stopping anyone from making a harder one...

@Inevitable: Why disallow capships or groups? If it's open-ended, seems like a fun thing to do solo, with a group, or with a cappie... "lets see how long can (x) last?". You could have Gauntlet MkII - Solo, and Gauntlet MkII - Open or similar.

i can be able to do that no problem at all, why not after you manage to live it can give you an option for either start again from a wave or send all of the bots you battled per wave to come at you at once? also i can add a group type mission only, or just like the original i can have that same thing where if YOU don't kill the bot then it wont count the bot as a kill or it can abort the mission, there could also be a timer version where you need live and a crap load of bots. i can also add a mk3 where i will add around 100 waves just for the laughs, but these laughs will mostly you getting swarmed and shot at.

This one is an incremental change, a harder gauntlet for players lvl4+ I will be looking in to making one after that that addresses some of the other continuous styles mentioned here after the immediate need is filled with this one.
