I think that this game should have some sort of newbie protection so that n00bs like me can get a foothold in the game. I think it's rather lame of people to kill n00bs who r still flying the free ship. The newbie protection would only last a few days or so - just enough time for a player to explore the vendetta universe and get a slightly better ship.

If newbie protection were to cause too much trouble in game with invincible n00bs, then an 'explore offline' option would be a good idea.

Either of those ideas would be helpful to new players like myself. Should this game continue to live, then I hope that one of them is implemented. You appear to need donations from players in order to survive, and I dare bet that you have lost hundreds who have been unable to cope with pirates.

I'll be sticking around, however - I'll not give in easily. If I can get my paypal account activated in time, you might even get a donation from me :)

Maybe a training sector with damage off like 404?
