Remove Players location while we do chat inside guild and also make a option to mute or ignore guild chat if possible ;P

+1 location sharing -ish; guilds (or specific pilots) should be able to toggle the feature for locations, instead of it being outright removed.

Wouldn't it be easier to just quit the guild since you don't seem to enjoy it all that much?

If you don’t trust your guild mates and don’t even want to be on the guild chat, well that defeats the purpose of being in one. Maybe try /guild resign member ?

If you only want to toggle guild chat, you can do it in settings to turn it off completely.

You might also want to delete any secret plugins that might let your guild mates track you ;).

Guild chat locations needs to be player choice if revealed or not.
It would be easy enough to tell a player your location, or switch on location reveal if wanted

3. Leave Guild (If you don't want them to know where you are, then you can't trust them very much and should quit)

How do you make the distinction? How do you know with certainty that your "good guild mates" are not alts belonging to someone who you consider an enemy? Some people are very good with compartmentalizing.

This should be a guild-wide setting defined by the leadership, not an individual member choice -- unless the leaders select a "let individual members chose for themselves" option. Perhaps have separate versions by rank as well. A guild might want to force the peons to reveal their locations, but allow upper management to hide. Or vice versa.

I wouldn't consider this irrational paranoia. It is simply giving more nuance to guild structure, which is a good thing.

"I don't want you to see where I am, and I am forcing you to show me where you are if you want to be in this guild" is not merely a nuance.

It's a blatant display of distrust and paranoia.

Personally, I would be miffed, think the guild leader is suffering from some sort of mental illness, and quickly take my leave.

People don't realize that players go months or years on alts for the sole reason of naughty stuff, you guys should be paranoid I'm in all your guilds.
