A second CSR 12 hours after the first
I suggest that there should be a second CSR 12 hours after the first. It should run in the opposite direction of the original.
This would give those in other parts of the world (or those who work a late shift) a chance to race.

This would give some of the folks on the other side of the planet a better chance of participating as well. I've heard some say they don't because it's 4am for them or something.

But it certainly should have its own results, as the backwards run is (historically - we used to run CSR that way sometimes) either a bit longer or a bit shorter. You may ask how is that possible?
The worm hole runs are generally shorter one way, and the shortcuts are plentiful the other. I've never really ran the new one, but I don't think anything has changed that.

I like that, in theory, but it creates a challenge when it comes to the list of fastest-times. Basically, then the people elsewhere on earth can't have their times compared to the earlier racers.. which then means some kind of separate list.
I'd be more inclined to keep them consistent in direction, and then maybe try reversing the race for [i[different events, like maybe a race on Weds or some such (again, duplicated across 12h periods).

At least for the 2 race idea.. CSR is pretty successful/popular event, would be more so if the rest of the world could participate at a decent hour. I notice we have a decent sized Chinese guild online in the late hours, we should definitely get this thing opened up for them peeps!

We added a second race last night, which runs at 9am UTC (4am CDT), 12 hours after the first one.
It runs in the same direction as the primary one.
I had plans for other mid-week stuff, but it was all scrapped by unexpected drama. I'm not sure when we'll get back to that.
But, at least there's something for people in other regions, now.
