Capital Ship Trade Missions

There should be Trade Guild Missions that are only available to Capital Ship Pilots.
The Missions would have 2 flavors a 600 cu item and an 800 cu item. They would be from Capitol Station to Capitol Station.

If the 2 stations are in the same nation the mission should pay like 700-800k for the dent and 500-600k for the goli version.

If the 2 stations are in 2 different Nations (UIT, Itan, Serco) It should pay more for the longer trip more like 2M for the dent and 1.5m for the Goli.

Lastly If the route is in between the Pirate Capitol in Odia and a Nation it should pay even more. For a Dent load between Odia/itan or Odia/Serco around 3.5M for a Trident load /2.5M for a Goliath Load. From/to UIT space a bit less 3M for dent and 2M for the goli trip.

These would be missions so the pay is known up front and does not change.
There would be a daily limit on the number of missions you can take like 4-5.

The cargo is taking up the whole ship so you can not leave your Capitol ship during the mission.
You will likely want to use some of these profits to hire you a couple escorts.

This could be fun. I'd love to steal a load from somebody on this mission and hold the cargo for ransom. I expect losing a big load of the customers cargo would carry a bigger penalty then losing a small load.

Also, are do runs from Odia to Itan take the same number of jumps as Odia to Sol-II? I think the payout currently is based on the number of jumps and amount of cargo for deliveries and procurement missions. I haven't checked this in several years, and the memory is kinda fuzzy, so I'd actually like to know.

I don't know if the payouts are reasonable, has anybody run the 'bulk' delivery and procurement missions along that course recently?

I didn't consider penalty for failing but there should definitely be one. Like you now have to pay 5m or something to cover the lost item

Edit 9-12: After thinking about it I think the penalty should be 175% of the payday.
That way if you lose 1 load, you need to do 2 successfully completed missions of the same type to get back to profit.

I am not sure how many jumps. I used to run Gauss Turrets from the capitols to odia regularly. It took me about 20 minutes from Dau and more like 30-35 minutes from Itan/Serco to odia IIRC. So the time from Red and Blue space was pretty much the same

Now that I think of it, the current bulk procurement/delivery/retrieval missions are available to players who do not yet have acess to a ship big enough to haul it all in one trip. Why limit it to capitol ship pilots only? Sure it may take several trips, but that sounds like the pilots problem.

The reason to limit is to make the cargo huge so you are forced to not leave your ship. You have to get friends to spot and protect you or risk to lose it all. This is also a reason for the high pay. I envision 3-4 players splitting that payday
