In light of some recent experiences, I wrote up an updated list of Rules for Suggestions, which have been "stickied" at the top of this Forum.

Please read, understand and act on them. They aren't actually "new" rules.

The "rules" are also written as individual "posts", so they can be linked-to on an individual basis, if we need to point out how a particular post is unhelpful, with a rule as reference.

All these rules exist to preserve limited Developer time, and make the Suggestions discussions more likely to yield actual game-changing results. So, the rules are here for the benefit of the community and the game as a whole.

Threads violating the rules waste a lot of time, drain energy, and usually result in no changes at all. So, it's really kind of a "help us to help you" situation.

None of the stuff in the rules is personal. It's all been generated over large numbers of threads and issues and personalities. So don't take it personally when someone asks you to adhere.
