If Sid123's suggestion becomes a thing, make a #guild-recruiting-chatter channel

If Sid123's suggestion becomes a thing, make a #guild-recruiting-chatter channel. Allow posters to create threads in this channel.

The #guild-recruiting-chatter channel would operate in the same way the current #guild-recruiting runs. It would not be limited to guide only posts. It would, however, be in slow mode. Maybe 1-2 posts a day per person max.

The current rules from Whistler would apply:
""This is a channel for letting others know about guilds, and for potential guild members to let guilds know about their availability. Some minor pro-guild chest thumping is acceptable, but keep it light-hearted.""

Reasoning: the lighthearted back and forth between guilds on these channels is healthy and fun. Forcing everything into general means that channel will get harder to navigate. Threads would keep things better organized.

->During the discussion on Discord, there was also a suggestion to add a new #guild-discussion channel. Essentially dividing the role filled by one channel into two different, specialised channels.

^ from my suggestion

While there is an need for an ad-only channel proposed, it would also need a ground for discussion and description that happens in the current #guild-recruiting, as said in the OP. So yeah, +1 to a #guild-discussion or #guild-recruiting-chatter.

Allow posters to create threads in this channel.

At this time, I don't want to enable thread creation, which is currently disabled across user roles server-wide. Threads are a bit of a nightmare to moderate, since their visibility isn't very apparent and notifications aren't given for posts made inside of them until they've already been opened up by you.

However, I don't see a problem with the rest of either suggestion, if everyone else is fine with it and I get the go-ahead, then I can make the changes when i'm free.
