I don't mean to be intrusive. But a cockpit view or inside view would be really cool

VR pilots have cockpits (I personally disable them in favor of more viewing space), but for other platforms you're always welcome to download the "TapeHUD" plugin :P

Well, I don't particularly want cockpit views, especially on non-VR platforms, but I feel its a fairly common ask by new pilots in-game. Maybe, if done correctly, it could be a kind of low-hanging fruit for whatever next publicity push the devs do? I'm sure Inc and Ray could make an actual cockpit system that conforms across weird phone aspect ratios and resolutions and still looks nice.

That's basically the idea behind the game's option for Simulated VR mode.. aside from using that for VR testing.

But, it requires a considerable amount of work to make it a fully realized and compatible implementation.
