The current description for Role Playing is "Discussion of in-game events, organizations, and the like." But sometimes people think role playing is just for taking on a role and writing out a story. So keep the RP forum for that and make a separate forum for events.

Positives: People will know for sure where to post and read information about events. That way the General doesn't get used for stuff like that.

Negatives: Forum sprawl. Adding more specific forums means things get spread out even more on a low traffic site.

What if we just renamed "Role Playing" to "Events & Role Playing"?

That was going to my initial suggestion. But I changed it last second. My last second thought was that maybe events or roleplaying posts could get lost in the shuffle, so instead to split them from each other to make things absolutely clear.

That said, i am fine with just a rename.
