Improved Bounty Hunting

Hello, long time since I've posted on these boards. Today I come with a simple suggestion and request; improved bounty hunting mechanics! Bounty hunting is one of the areas of the game that is in serious need of some work. My thoughts are keeping it simple would be best. So here's what I propose: you /msg the sheriff with one of the 4 following commands:

list: shows all bounties
place: allows you to place a bounty on a target. removes the money from your wallet and makes it available to claim
remove: allows you to remove any money you have put into bounties
help: explains all of the commands

So basically I would type /msg sheriff place 1 "pilot" to give a player named "pilot" a bounty of 1 credit. To remove all of my bounties, I just type /msg sheriff remove. This gives me my money back. To see all bounties, I type /msg sheriff list. If I need an explanation, I can type /msg sheriff help.

If someone kills someone who has a bounty on their head, they will immediately get the bounty. This is to prevent people removing their bounties after someone has been killed.

To be clear, the money doesn't come from nowhere; you deposit money to set a bounty, it disappears from your account, and then whoever kills the bounty gets it. The only way to get your money back is to use the remove command.

Anyway let me know what you think.

How would you handle the situation of only wanting to remove one bounty if you have more than one set?

In that case we could make it so that you could type /msg sheriff remove "pilot" so that you could remove the bounty you placed on that player. We would have to keep the bounties separated i guess so that they could be removed individually if necessary.

/bounty place shouldn't be refundable and should cost 10* the price of the bounty to discourage abuse. (credits are cheap lategame and I'd prefer that the bounty system remain tied to "outlaw" behavior).

beyond that /bounty list should spit out the list of bounties specific to the respective nation and the last station that player docked in sorted by last seen first and bounty payout second.

/bounty remove should be reserved for the player that wants to get rid of their bounty and would force them to travel to the respective capitol system to pay off the marshall essentially making it difficult for KoS players from clearing their bounty without getting sploded one way... or another! :}
