War Blockade Persistence & addtional mechanics

when the even rolls over the losing side sends an opposing force that spawns from geira/deneb travels through the respective nation's space and takes on the remaining fleet on the blockaded wormhole, whatever remains persists until new spawns travel through greyspace and engage it.

The idea is that on mondays the losing side will essentially clear the blockade and park the remaining force until it's eventually exploded by opposing players or war convoy spawns.

whole idea is to generate more explosions and give a 6~24h window for newbs to make it through the blockaded system if one side is... winning! The additonal persistence of capships/fighters would also help towards making the event more uhhh I hate to use these words; realistic and engaging.

To prevent players from making shit go tits up for folks on crappier devices and on lame internet connections a maximum npc cap could be implemented where if it's reached new spawns arriving in the sector in question would either warp out/despawn or jump into the wormhole to get meatgrinded by border turrets generating cool wrecks and explosions for newbs to gawk at!

I hope I don't have to further explain why this would be... FUCKING AWESOME! :P

Sounds cool. The only negative is that the capships getting "meatgrinded by turrets" on the other side won't leave hulks because Jallik and Initrios WHs are in station sectors. I guess the Helios-Ukari WH would at least though...

I do wonder if a tdon or a connie or two would wreck a turret field? That would be hilarious!
