Yes Magus, I have mounted a variety of craft with the Flechette Cannon and all find the same result.
2x Vulture: DESTROYED
2x Vulture: SEVERLY DAMAGED, DESTROYED ON RETREAT
4x Hornet: DESTORYED IN COMBAT
1x Centurion: DESTROYED IN COMBAT
1x Warthog w/Prox: DESTORYED IN COMBAT
All these craft except for 1 of the Vultures was lost in combat agains 75 or 150 bots in s12. The other was lost in a dire cap stopping attempt, she managed to severely damage 1 capper with the help of a Missile Rag.
The point is, from my point of view, the Flechette is useful on an EXTREMELY rare occasion. Other than that, perhaps ceremonial 21-gun Salutes but ultimately, she's a show weapon.

hehe. my dual flechette vult wins against the bots though (experiment conduced in s11. it takes FOREVER to kill the bots in 11 with flechette... usually they get too far from you, etc)
