Blah... For some reason, this site is starting to hurt my eyes... I think it may be from the small font used in the thread listing (as well as in player ranking, your stats, etc.). Would it be possible to increase it to something like 12 point? I know I could increase the font size in my browser, but that would affect *all* the fonts, and most of them are fine...

Edit: Yep, it's definitely from the small listing font. My eyes started hurting again as soon as I looked at the thread list...

I think the left navbar's background image could be a little darker to increase the contrast with the text. The top bar with the logo is a lot easier to read for that very same reason, albeit yes it does have a bigger font!

The new site look extremely good! Nearly perfect. And her on my Mac, it seems to be a font about the size of 9 points in the thread overview (in messages about 12 points). And it is very comfortable to my eyes, because of the good and smooth font rendering of OSX and my wide-screen TFT ;-)

But if font is to small for you, why not make it bigger? It should be very easy on every browser on every OS, just try: Ctrl + and Ctrl - (or Apple +, and Apple - on mac)

I like this site a lot more than the old one, which btw, I always though was pretty basic althought that added to the Militaaristic feel of the game.

Stuepfnick, that would increase the font size of *everything*. The thread listing font is the only one I have a problem with. Oh, and it looks to be about 8 point on my monitor...

/me likes that font too, but for most ppl it's to small i think. It should be increased by 1 (i think it's 8 too)

But that font would be perfect for hud :)
Espacially /charinfo, where there are mostly numbers. ;)

Gaaa! No 8 point font for the HUD!

Your browser should have a setting to increase the viewing font size. In IE it's VIEW -> TEXT SIZE -> *pick font size*. Or even more simply, hold the <CTRL> key and spin your mouse wheel to change the size on the fly.

Gaaa! That's not what I'm saying! I know I can do that! The problem is that that increases *every* font's size, not just the one used in the thread listing. If that were a good solution, I wouldn't have made this thread! -.-

Pyro, I think the <ctrl> key option is pretty good. you can change it all back by spinning the mouse wheel, so what gives?

I fixed it, it's 12pt now. I agree Pyro, it was too hard to read.

Yep.. you have right.. 90% font size works fine ;D

Wait, what got changed? The thread listing looks the same to me...
May 10, 2004 Vlad link
Bleh. I bet it's displaying differently in different browsers/OSs.
May 10, 2004 Pyro link
Maybe... Have you tested it in Windows with Firefox?

Edit: Yeah, it's bigger in IE...

FAQ font size needs to go down. Way down.
