Simply allow players to store and withdraw credits from a large guild pool.

with a set withdraw max each day maybe?
Higher ranks can withdraw more, etc
Guild enterance fees, Guild cargo missions and maybe guild stock holds for cargo on stations

How can that not be done by having the Treasury of the Guild sit in some station and give/take members money ? I know it's not as practical, but at least it's possible.
