If we could access the station GUI in flight, and all buttons/tabs that were invalid (most of them) grayed out it would be a nice way to monitor your cargo hold and other types of information (damn where did I leave my Vulture XT again?)

The Ship tab could even have a Jettison button (in place of Unload and Sell) to give complete control of what to dump ...

This way, new functions could be added as the game evolved in the same GUI that the player is already familiar with.

and I hope we could access station prices, just like I could 20 years ago :)

THIS ALSO SOLVES PROBLEM OF JETTISONING THE SPECIFIC CARGO!!! ;)

When you are out in space, it would be nice to jetison cargo you don't want so you can pick up the more valuable cargo right infront of you.
