encouraging grouping and player interaction

i have played for >100 hours, but the most fun i had was last night with other players. first i got chased by a crazy serco. then a couple of us grouped together and went queen hunting.

if anything can be done to streamline or encourage this sort of player interaction, i am all for it. i have a few suggestions here.

1. make user interface to 'group' commands easier. (quote marks and usernames with spaces confuse a lot of people)

2. more queens, and more queens per sector

3. fix group combat missions

4. have group trade missions

I think the current queesn would work if they could be reported in the news section at stations.

If your group wants to find a bot go to a station News tab and it may tell you within 4-5 sectors of where the bot is.

Also we need nation chat back!!!!

Group trade missions would be great, ex Your group needs to deliver 800 luxuries to Eo Garden, Eo

Also I think we need Incursion Missions, where a group could go into enemy space and steal something( data disc etc) and return it to their nation for high exp rewards.

I definitely agree, MORE queens, and post periodically in the news section sightings of where they are with system/sector info. And posibbly a faction increase to the closest faction around for clearing the area of a dangerous queen??

I also really like the group trade missions. I've heard around that some people prefer to kill the atlas themselves in the CTC missions and just run the cargo to the destination themselves. This seems kind of weird to me, the missions should involve only players, or make a different kind of CTC with just players and have the cargo need to be delivered farther away, or have npc pirates actively trying to take down the caravan.

There needs to be more mining oriented missions (group and solo), I'm sure they are in the works but I thought I'd just throw that one in as well, and give the players some more incentive to go mining in places that are more dangerous. Personallty, I've found no reason to go any further then base zones to find most ores, including some of the nicer and more rare. Additionally, there should be a small amount of faction increase for selling off your mined ore, even if it's fractions of a point per crate. It would give more incentive to sell at different stations (other then just price).

I like the idea of providing ore actually giving a standing bonus. I was thinking about .03 faction per unit of ore, but less if demand is low(why would they think you're doing them a favor if they already have more than they need?).

I could live with ≈.o3/crate faction increase!! =)
