Grouping needs serious development..

I've been in a few groups, for advanced combat missions, and I find them to be great fun. The game is just so much better when played alongside several other players in close proximity =)

However, it really needs fixing. Right now bots required increases proportionally to the number of people in the group, but the experience gained does not. It doesn't even change! I had a large group recently, requiring 45 bots per bonus, and we were dumbfounded to get 300 combat after all that toil. It's basically not worth grouping at all even if you don't have newbie members who get no kills and keep dying.

I've seen the potential of group missions - combat, trading, mining and other types - to make the game a lot more fun, and it saddens me to see it so poorly implemented. Grouping definitely needs fixing with MUCH better bonuses, the ability to kick members, and possibly other interface improvements like setting waypoints. In the long run, mining, trading and PvP missions will be fantastic, but in the short run I think even just making bonuses a better incentive would be both highly feasible (maybe in the next patch? A man can dream :D) and massively beneficial to gameplay.

Thoughts?

the theory is that the bonus doesnt increase because each member should still be doing the same amount of work.

The theory doesnt work very well tho.

Gotta admit is was a bit more hectic than botting on your own. That bot run in Azek I-11 had some good moments for me. Distracting a bot away from another member of a group when they got double teamed added an interesting element to the combat.

Even if that is the theory spellcast, why do the credit rewards get divided?
