OH believe me shape if i had not been misled by the box or was the manual, anyway one of them directly said I want to be a trader then UIT would be your choice.

I should have chosen Itani.

Now back to the topic .I ask again will you be able to eject mission items?

Cheers/Thrangar

I don't see why not, when I blow you up you lose them, no?

I did say "randomly picking a cargo type" did I not? I believe that means any cargo you have is at risk. Believe me, I hate pirates just as much if not more than any of you newcomers. I just don't think it's right for them to not have any way to play the lifestyle they want to.

So killing people on behalf of nationalistic governments and nonexistent ideologies is fine, but threatening to kill someone for money is wrong.

An interesting idea for a pirate weapon.

Corvus Engine Disruptor

Range 600m
Weight 400kg
Energy 60/sec

Causes targets engine to lose power slowing their potential top speed by 30m/sec

'stealing cargo right out of a ship'... this still seems odd to me. if you can mess with someones ship enough to force it to jettison cargo, then logically it seems like youd have the ability to do other things to it, like make it slow down, make its engines shut down, disable its weapons, eject the pilot, etc etc. which would all enable you to get the cargo.

sorry but the 'concussion weapon' thread has now got my vote for the best potential 'leveler' for pirates. its a missile, does ~0 damage, and 'jostles' ships around.

The concussion missiles wouldn't work. Trust me on that. :D Anyhow, I like this idea better. Disabling ships is a bad idea (read one of the multipage threads on why), and this works very neatly.

Why wouldn't they work? <------Has trust issues

I say give it to em, great idea! Fill your slots with cargo stealing devices, it'll give most people a fighting chance to return the favor and blow you up aftwards, cause odds are, you'll be in at least a hog or a wraith, or anything with (L) ports, which will limit your ability to fight, (Limit is the key word) and thus giving anyone else the ability to turn and fire missles, blasters, turrets or whatever and destroy you. If you want to be realistic, the odds are most people will put up a fight in this scenario, and do you want to be at a disadvantage with your large ports? It's still a good idea tho...:)
