More Dev's
Now that the game has gone live. Take some of that money we are all sending you and hire more poeple to help you get all the stuff you want to implement done faster. Nuff said…
John, I'm fairly certain we aren't sending enough money to employ the 4 devs we have now full-time. They're in it for the love of the game, to see their dream blossom into reality. It's very difficult to get outsiders to work for that.
Keep in mind that while this is the first product Guild software has put out, all the guys have worked in the computer business before. They are aware that more labor = increased output. They'll probably consider it when there is adequate cash flow.
For those who don't know the devs, you needn't worry about Vendetta staying afloat. They've kept Vendetta up and running 24/7 for a few years with NO income from the game. The subscription pays the basic bills and allows the devs to work on the game (squashing bugs and building in features), rather than working a second job that takes them away from us.

yea this is the first time they've recieved money and trust me its noticeable, weekly to bi-weekly updates are very delicious compared to the olden days of a month to 2 months at times!
believe me, I'm very satisfied to know that there are updates at all, coming from the mac EQ where there is NO GM's and NO patches/updates and NO CS and NO expansions, this is great. BUT!!!! I still think that there would be even more progress if there were more working on it. Was not a negative comment, only that they should seek extra hands to do some of the programming or artwork. =)
We're not saying that your suggestion is bad. Just that they can't do it.
Once they start making enough to hire more people, I'm sure they will. It's kinda hard to find people who'll do skilled labor full-time for free or insanely cheap. ;-)
Hey, I've several times tried to make suggestions for fan created content, but when it comes to doing it themselves, fans are suddenly not to be found.
I wish I could submit art or programing, alas I am not that skilled =(
Celebrim: it's a good idea. some fans have made really nifty stuff for vendetta, but what they make, although good, doesn't have that vendetta "feel" to it.
