Tunguska Heavy Mining Concern exists in the dark corners of gray space. Odia and Edras being it's only stations, it is surrounded on all sides by dense fields of asteroids and nasty hostile robots.
But the web of life of the galaxy has come to depend on the asteroids. What part will Tunguska play in the future concerns of the nations, and of the ecosystem of the galaxy?

I do hope something will come of Tunguska. Right now I don't even think they have a special ship. However, being a heavy mining concern, I suspect theirs'd have plenty of storage and good armor, but be slow.

What about a special Tunguska mining beam?
I think a mining ship would sacrifice both armor and maneuverability for lots of weapon ports and cargo space. Like the ragnarok with double the cargo and half the armor.

They would be a perfect candidate for a specal, NEW, ship design, specific for mining. Possibly with three large slots only for mining beams, or if other suggestions are implemented, 3 device slots. Of course you'd need 600+ faction to get and a certain level of mining skill, possible even complete a small set of mining missions to obtain accecability to the type.
"Tunguska Maud" - Legendary ship in the Corvus folklore.
According to the legend, the ship was a heavy armored Marauder with enhanced mining capabilities designed by a young and brilliant Tanguska engineer named Irkot Plovdank. During his first flight with it, Irkot was caught in an ion storm just when he was mining a very valuable asteroid. Suddenly surrounded by hiving bots, Irkot fought with great courage and energy. With only a few percents hull, he shouted on Tanguska channels "I will clean out this roid field even if I have to keep mining until doomsday!". His voice was heard no more.
Since then, many pilots reported sights of a black marauder in the grey territories. The dark ship would appear only in ion storms and close to roids, but would remained undetected by radars.
In Corvus children stories, the Tanguska Maud beams out of their ship the pilots who would come too close and it has the ability to paint roids in black.

Well, i have +803 Tunguska faction, License 9 trade, License 8 mining, 120 Prospecting missions, and Tunguska has nothing special so far.
In fact, Tunguska Mining in Edras does not even have all the mining beams. Seems to me that it is missing these:
Heliocene MB
Magneto Twin MB
Deniphase MB
Mining Beam MK II
Tunguska Barracks in Odia is also missing these:
Advanced MB
IoPhase MB
Advanced Mineral Scanner
For a 'Heavy Mining Concern' I would expect them to have these items. Would you?

Well, I admit that I'm a little bit disappointed as well that the Tunguska music has been omitted in this game. Tunguska has quite a reputation as THE clubbing zone in the Galaxy for those who like industrial heavy techno stuff. It is a pity not to hear their metallurgic beats when entering Edras.
