I am an icafe owner and am part of a group called igames.org. its a community of icafe owners around the world and i would like to make a suggestion.
frequently, we have showcases for games, like this weekends lord of the rings: battle for middle earth where we can buy the games in bulk at a discount in exchange for showcasing the game and getting customers to try it. the idea behind this is that alot of our customers are dumb. well not most anyway. they will play a game here and buy a copy for their home.
i have suggested to igames to consider this game for showcase, but someone from here should contact igames also. in the past theres been alot of other not-so-well-known games, many beta tests, and things like that (guild wars, savage, warhammer 40k: DoW, armies of exigo, etc). it might be a good bolster to the community here.
i just got thru with my 8 hour free trial and will sign up for an account. i have played eve online and e&b and all sorts of games and this is something ive been looking for. to me its like freespace2, but online.
i'd suggest pos materials, game cd's, and other thigns to be given out during a showcase, with maybe a special plan for icafes to play the game free from certain ip's for a fixed price per month, but you can negotiate jsut about anything. alot of showcases are 8-10 cd's for a set price.

also, igames called me about this game. i told them it was fun. they should be calling the developers/publishers.
