I find I spend a lot of time traveling along the same routes, either while I'm doing trading or along the CtC route. Rather than setting my route each time (I almost always jump around 'roid belts), I'd like to be able save my route & recall it the next time I want to travel it.

This could also work in conjuction with the "inter-player route transmission" suggestion ( http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/8356 ). And it could lead to 'well-known routes', that pirates could hunt along. So you would have a choice, set a new route everytime, or be more likely to encounter pirates...

Although, for pirates to *really* take advantage of this, they'd need some type of way to keep people from jumping...

Also, it wouldn't only be good for pirates. I personally would fairly often patrol common routes looking to defend people against known pirates.
