Nation color (Hostile/Friendly)

Jan 08, 2005 Nya13 link
Could you change it please?

- Make as Green (friendly) on radar only players/bots that cannot hurt (attack) us.

- Make as RED (hostile) on radar only players/bots that can hurt (attack) us.

instead of the current system.
So only nation members with a good standing will appear as green on radar.

Because it's actually hard to see on radar and distinct who is hostile or not.

1) That's ridiculous to be hurt (attacked) by somone that is supposed to be friendly.

2) In CtC when UIT players are involved (happen often) the only way for us to distinct them quickly. forcing us to use the (u) "sector list" but it's too dangerous to use it while we are figting.

3) It's not easy to target them because they are not enemys (only select at front or sector list work).
imagine that you are serco or itani and have to fight a group of UITs. really it s hard to select them.

[EDITED]
I known there are already so many threads about it and i already made a suggestions a while ago about it and standing system. But it'seems that was too complicated.
This one is easier and will resolve it. (I hope) :o)

I havn't read the other threads, but what if red were reserved for units that were targeting you, and green were reserved for members of your nation that were in good standing. Then a neutral collor (yellow, maybee) were used to mark anyone who wasn't of your nation and who wasn't targeting you. That way you always know better who is an imediat threat to you and who is no threat at all. The rest you can sort out with "target in front" and "sector list".

Now I know this doesn't nesisarily solve the CTC problem you spoke of but it would solve my personal issues with the curent radar system, and it would solve the not knowing whi is realy hostile problem (unless an expert player can kill you without targiting you but if you are that out-classes you didn't stand much of a chance anyway)

yea i mostly agree with lord q. although the current green/red system works really well for bots and AI players, actual people are far more likely to stray from their faction. i have no idea, for example, whether a uit human player is going to greet me or waste me on sight because all uit's appear green to me. it might be best if players appear green/red to you based on their standing in relation to your faction.

on the other hand, it might take some of the fun out of it if i knew exactly who i could trust! id be very surprised if everyone agreed on a single scheme (pirates would hate the one i suggested above!!)

my questions :

if only nation members will apppear as green on your radar that will change something for you?

how the current system work well for you if you cannot distinct who is abble to attack you or not?
you are UIT. so all sercos and itanis are able to shoot you! (they apppear green) how could you say it s working very well?

you are a traders and never do pvp.
so if everybody appears as all red or all green. that will affect you or not?

RED = supposed to be "hostil" or "take care! he could shoot you" no?
GREEN = friendly. no need to worry.
