it is faster to buy a ship than to hit 'select ship' and scroll through them all trying to find the ones that are at my current station.

please, at the very least, have 'select ship' be only the ships at your current station. or have it an option.

I think there should be an option to see all the ships in the station your in, and then to see all the ships you own.

Also, if your ship goes Kablooey, and you don't want the same ship back, as long as there's a single ship at that station, you have to choose that one, rather than go directly to the buy screen. Can we have a way of switching between the buy and select ship screens?

as long as we are on the subject of extra ships, allow me to beat a dead horse. how about being able to sell ships and equipment from across the galaxy? i am sure most of us have huge amounts of credits collecting dust across the known universe in places we rarely visit.

I think it'd be nice & convenient to be able to sell stuff in other systems, but if it is implemented I'd like it to be done by hiring an agent to sell the stuff, who would charge say 10% of proceeds.

I agree completely; while the rotating ship view is neat it's a real hassle to scroll through one ship at a time. I'd like to see something like the "buy" screen where you could select your ship from a vertical list, with the option of zooming in to view the ship in 3D.

great idea, Phaser... maybe split the "Buy Ship" and "Select Ship" screens into a central spinny-picture, and a vertical list of all ships in a column on the left or right..
