You added a Community Projects forum... How about a "Welcome" forum where newbies can make their first posts. Set it to automatically delete threads one week after creation (mods can move anything useful out in that period of time) and there ya go.

Well yes, except that it isn't self-cleaning. This would be a nice feature, though it does require that more work be done on the website. It won't happen soon.

Every forum needs more sections no-one ever needs.
