Contraband Missions

It would be nice if we could run contraband for extra xp/faction/cash from grey space factions, like corvus. If they go into nation space, they could attract strike forces (although they would have to allow you to dock in monitored space, it shouldn't affect standing in the target nation ^too^ much) which try and kill you if you don't jettison the cargo. It would be something fun to do in a corvus vulture or centurion. What do you guys think? It would also be something for nation guilds to do - they could gain standing for capturing contraband cargo.

There was a great contraband exploit in EVN. If you got caught the strike force came out to get you unless you could dock in time or get away. The same could be implemented for illegal weapons, although I think you die often enough to make that less of an issue.

Of course, this would require that station guards could scan your ship for weapons and cargo, which I don't think is part of the game. They could however demand you stop for an inspection, sort of like pirating but by the fascist state police! It might be fun to have some interaction with the "cops" like that once in a while, and enhance the sense of realism. Of course, Itani cops would be much more likely to search Serco ships, and secondly UIT...or anyone with less than admire standing. If I was running a station I'm not sure I'd let a neutral or worse trader just dock at a station without checking them out first.

This might be a bad/unpopular idea, so don't flame me. Just say it.
