you're Serco. why would you need to worry about your Serco standing falling? seems to me that if anything, establishing linked standing would be likely to lower your Itani standing, unless you regularly perform actions that piss off the Serco.

i never advocated standing that decays by itself over time, and i happen to think that that's a horrible idea. sometimes Real Life intervenes and it becomes impossible to log in for a while; this should not impose a massive standing penalty.
