In Space Repairs
Hey all,
I thought it might make things interesting if players could make in space repairs to their ships if they have been damaged, provided they carry spare parts, ect.
This could lead to interesting millitary missions, and allow players to continue with missions without docking.

It is already possible to purchase a repair module, which will allow you to repair other ships, but not your own ship. The ability to repair your own ship is an oft suggested & discussed topic, with the general consensus being that it would mess up the balance of player vs. player combat, and therefore a bad thing.
There's actually a thread here in the suggestion forum that's still on the first page about a "repair bot" ( http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/8943 ). One thing that was mentioned in that thread that I think might work well, was Knight_Of_Order's suggestion that you would only be able to repair yourself if your ship was at a complete stop (0 m/s). I think that could work out well without unbalancing combat.
