XP tweaking thread

How come....

Orne guardians give only 150 xp, while tycorps give 210 xp? Orne guardians have more hp, more firepower (dual gatling turrets), and are all around harder to kill imo. Tycorps have low hp, are relatively easy to hit, have one measly phased blaster, and yet they give 210 xp, more than the Orne guardian.

Please post any other noted inconsistencies (or feel free to disagree with mine)

I hear that assessment a lot so I assume it's true for most people.

However my own personal experience is the opposite. I can't hit assault bots to save my life while the big fat Orne gaurdian is so slow, you practically can't miss it.

I find that Assaults in general are easier than Guardians. But one other thing I think deserves mentioning, is that I believe Assaults tend to group up more than Guardians.

Yeah, while I am happy with the xp given by assaults*, I still don't think it's fair in comparison to the measley amount given by guardians.

*I got combat 7 and 8 in less than 90 min. because of repeated missile strikes. Here's the details:
1. I took a Rag with 2 Geminis and 2 Chaos swarms
2. went to a sight in Deneb with all Valent A47 Assaults, (450 xp for 4)
3. shot down twelve each time, 2 with my geminis, 3 or 4 if i was lucky, and 1 with each chaos swarm shot

My Scottish blood is showing. I can't bring myself to use ammo weapons against bots. Energy weapons will kill them too, without costing me credits.

This seems to be a valid use for projectile weapons for players with many credits. Can you think of a better use?

Most experienced players will dodge most projectile weapons. If they're not used against robots, for what else can they be useful?
