Character Info Stats

Mar 06, 2005 DragonEmpire link
I often find that the Character Info screen is hard to read, one of the main reasons is everything is cramped together. I frequently use and check the Character Info screen and making it a bit easier to read would help alot.

For example, instead of having

Itani Nation: Neutral (+213)
Serco Dominion: Admire (+676)
Union of Independant Territories: Admire (+787)
TPG Corporation: Neutral (+200)
BioCom Industries: Dislike (-345)
etc...

Have

Itani Nation: Neutral (+213)
Serco Dominion: Admire (+676)
Union of Independant Territories: Admire (+787)
TPG Corporation: Neutral (+200)
BioCom Industries: Dislike (-345)
etc...

EDIT: Sorry post didn't work out right :(... The second group was supposed to be in collums.

Yeah, there's no fixed spacing on these boards. Care to make a graph JPG or something?

I'll try to figure something out, but I think I got my point across.

I never found it was that difficutlt to read but I can see where people have issues with it.

Columns might not be a bad idea. I actually think it might be beter to not even show the numbers but just show how well liked/dislikd the player is.

| Nation/Faction | Admirability | Rating |

Something like that I would suppose. Of course having it so it is always spaced the same.

Daikaze, you're idea has been tried. The stats originally only used to read Like/Dislike/Hate/Admire. Many complained that they had no way of knowing what this ment and couldn't tell how much progress was being made in a given faction.

I think he meant instead of having the number unaligned, to have them in one easy to read column. Also, coloring the name with status would be great.

Coloring, Yes perfect!!! Red for hated, green for admired, and a slew of shades in between!!! It's much easier to recognize a color at a glance then it is to read numbers and then determine there meaning.

Columns would be nice to.
